My little Aragorny was really snuggly at the weekend. He spent most of the weekend following me around and kept crawling into my lap for some serious ear and chin scratching.
Arwen has been keeping Matt and I amused by rolling around on our bed, proffering her tum tum for rubs until she almost rolls herself off the edge. Dafty cat.

12:26 pm - A year with my babies.....

We've had Aragorn & Arwen for exactly a year.
It's gone so fast. I'm so glad that we got loads of photos of them when they were babies. Looking at them now, I just can't believe that they were ever able to sit in the palms of my hands.
I love my babies to bits. We got them when I was still feeling uncomfortable in the house, and they really made getting used to the house a much more pleasant experience. They have always been loving, wily and comical and life just wouldn't be the same without them. I look forward to getting home after work because I know they're going to be sat on the stairs waiting for me.

Aragorn & Arwen are loving having us at home this week. I'm so glad that they're such friendly, sociable cattens.
Aragorn is always following me around the house and if I shut him out of a room he just sits and yaps outside until I come out or let him in. Bless him.
Arwen is the same, except that she sometimes likes to take herself off on her own and will have a quiet snooze underneath the bed or on the windowsill in my computer room.
I love my babies and my babies love me :)

9:45 am - Poor Aragorny.....
|
My Little Man was poorly yesterday evening. He was sick a couple of times and had a sore bum bum and spent the majority of the evening curled up in his bed being very quiet.
Me, being me, I was checking on him every 5 minutes and insisted that if he wasn't any better in the morning that we would be taking him to the emergency vet.
He was fine in the morning. Ate up his breakfast with his usual enthusiasm, then he just suddenly became out of sorts. He's not eaten anything out of the ordinary. At least we don't think.
Anyway, he didn't touch any of his dinner, but late in the night he perked up a bit and came downstairs. He'd finally been able to go to the toilet and he's had a bit of a runny bum, but after he'd got whatever it was out of his system he ate some of his dinner.
I checked on him at about 5 this morning and he was a lot more responsive, and just before I got up this morning he came in for a cuddle and to my delight, as soon as he heard Matt open the door to his spare room, Aragorn was up like a shot and crying for his breakfast like normal.
I'm so glad that he's back to normal. I'm going to keep an eye on what he eats today.
I was so worried about him last night. I couldn't bear it if anything happened to my Little Man. He's my baby.

....it's just too hot for him, bless him.
He's been following me from room to room today. I've got the fan going in here and although he has my sympathies, he did look so comical spread-eagled on the floor.
I think Arwen is hiding under the bed. It's probably dark and cool under there. Lucky her.

You may remember that I bought Aragorn a radiator bed a few weeks ago. He's spent this time sizing it up with some suspicion, but has been refusing to settle on it for more than a few seconds.
I walk out of the living room last night, and there's my Aragorn, snuggled happily as can be on the radiator bed looking mightily pleased with himself! I wish I had the camera with me, he looked impossibly adorable.
For the next few minutes he had to endure me squealing excitedly at him and exclaiming what a good and clever boy he was for not wasting his mummy's money.

Finally managed to get some more pictures of Aragorn & Arwen yesterday. They were being really sweet to each other yesterday, sharing the same bean bag and grooming each other.

1:52 pm - Radiator Bed

I've been after a radiator bed for Aragorn and finally found a decent one at a reasonable price. I've just been informed that it has been despatched.
I hope Aragorn appreciates it after all this :P
I wanted to get him a little treat as he's not as keen on the scratching post tree as Arwen is. I've noticed that whenever the radiator is on, he likes to sleep on top of the boxes that we still have stacked up against the wall next to it. He probably won't be very interested in it at first but I'm going to endeavour to tempt him by putting food on there for him. I'm sure he'll make friends with it relatively quickly after that :P
I'll have to get some recent photos of Aragorn & Arwen done as it's been a while since I posted pictures of them on here.
They're still absolutely lovely and affectionate and I love spending time with them.
